This i my pitiful excuse for Dawn - Queen of Witches. Character is copyright J. Michael Linsner. It's not bad for my skill level, but JML does her SO much better. lol

Catching Up: 14-17 of 365

So I did most of these on Sunday the 19th. I just didn't have time to scan them in and the 18th & 19th Free Themes are MIA this time.

T is for Tree Truck

W is for Window - pretend I didn't draw that tree and stuff outside. They suck!

H is for Hearts - kinda silly and not even close to difficult. I just wanted to do something SUPER EASY. This fit.

F is for Funny Fish - It's pretty sucky. I don't use colored pencils often, but I did this time for the heck of it.

When I saw the letter M - this was the first thing that entered my mind. A cute little mousie looking up at a HUGE chunk of cheese. I think the mouse is in LOVE! lol

So I'm behind in these. Tsk Tsk! I decided that instead of going backward, I'd just post something I've already done. This was the first part of a WIP that I'm STILL working on.

Created some time ago for a challenge at a forum. We were given a job and asked to create a tool of the trade. I can't remember exactly, but I think mine was a wine maker. Hence the grapes.

6-10 of 365: Figure Drawing

So I didn't have a lot of time throughout the week to do this. So I sorta did all these in the last 2 days. I think they kinda suck because figure drawing is NOT my forte. But I did it!

I haven't had time to scan stuff..but here's last Sunday's. It's supposed to be the 'Coal Monster' in the old coal room in my basement. hehe

The perspective is off since I didnt' have a straight edge at work, but it's not TOO bad as a whole.

Okay, here is the next theme. I know i'm late posting it, but I did have it finished yesteday. I'm pretty happy with the feather itself, but the rest of it is utter crap.

Wow! Two Sketches in Two Days! I'm on a roll! I'm much happier with today's doodle and theme then yesterdays.

1 of 365: April Fools

Here's my first 'doodle'. I originally started with a pencil sketch, but it sucked BIG. So I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something like a painting.

It still sucks, but not as bad. Oh well!

A Year of Doodles

I haven't kept a blog for YEARS, but this blog will be dedicated to my participation in LieutenantDeath's Year of Doodes Challenge.

The project officially begins on April 1st.

I hope that this project will motivate me to get back into my sketching and art in general as I've been a slacker as of late.
